MMIMB (Missing Murdered Indigenous Men and Boys) Gathering on June 6th, 2026

Pialli (Greetings in Nahuatl) / Boozhoo / Tante Everyone,

On June 6th, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm, we (Guelph Indigenous Community Council) have booked the “Sacred Fire” location at Royal City Park, Gordon Street in Guelph to have a few hours of remembrance and reflection for MMIMB (Missing Murdered Indigenous Men and Boys). We hope if you are available that you will join us.

In our asking and notification to the community we are hoping for volunteers to be greeters and a firekeeper.
We are also asking for anyone who is wanting to come share about a loved one. If you are not able to or not wanting to speak, please feel free to reach out as we are here to support you.

We ask that there are no interruptions of anyone that may speak about their loved ones but we also ask respectfully that those speakers be mindful to leave space for others to share about their loved one.

Non-Indigenous are welcome to come attend, listen, and to ask questions as time permits and when appropriate during the event time.
